Why I LOVE the Norwex Enviro and Polishing Cloth

Thanks to the Norwex Envirocloth my cleaning routine has become so much simpler and faster. The Envirocloth, together with the Window (aka Polishing) Cloth, are the "bread and butter" products of the Norwex Company and they pack quite a punch on the home cleaning front. I love that with them I can tackle some of my biggest home cleaning challenges like my living room, kitchen and bathrooms.
People might not normally think of their living room as a cleaning challenge, but with four young children who spend lots of time (and with sticky fingers) in there it can became a challenge with so many different types of surfaces. I was using different cleaners for my wood, t.v. screen, walls, uphostery, and glass but now I just use the two Norwex cloths to clean it all. Yes you can even use them on your flat screen t.v.'s without fear-perfect for scrubbing off grimy finger prints! I used to dread cleaning my t.v. stand because I would need vinegar-water and newspaper for the glass part and furniture polish for the wood and be careful not to cross the two on the opposite surfaces. Now I wipe it all down together with a damp Enviro and finish up the glass with the Polishing cloth at the end.

Additionally, I can take my Envirocloth and use it to scrub any crayon off the wall or any spills on my sofas. Just the other day my 3-year old poured Polynesian Sauce on one of our sofas and the carpet. I cleaned it all up using my Envirocloth and a bit of Norwex's Ultra Power Plus Laundry Soap dissolved in water.

The Damage
After

After
I used the same to clean up my Pack-n-Play after one of my little ones had been sick in it. No stains and no odor and I didn't have to ruin (another) Pack-n-Play with too much water and harsh chemical cleaners. They are not kidding when they call the Envirocloth the "Everything" cloth-it works on so many things!
The kitchen can be a challenging area for anyone, with counters, wood cabinets, plastic and stainless steal appliances, tile and a number of other surfaces. I used to go through loads of hot water, dish soap, antibacterial spray and cotton cloths or paper towels. The Envirocloth is versatile enough to clean everything and remove bacteria at the same time. The first time I used the Envirocloth was in my kitchen and my first thought was "this is the one cloth to rule them all!"

The bathroom is another dreaded spot in most homes. This is where I used to really bust out the full gamete of chemicals to make sure I was getting the best clean. Now I grab my Envirocloth, my Window Cloth and my Norwex Bathroom Mitt. I start with the mirror and work my way all around my bathroom, finishing off with the toilet. The Bathroom Mitt works great for scrubbing down the tub and shower. I like keeping an Envirocloth hung up in the bathroom for quick touch-ups. If you have small children it can be hard to fit in time to clean. With Norwex's Envirocloth you can easily spend a few minutes wiping down the mirror, sink and counters (and anything you happen to keep on the counters) while they are in the bath tub without having to expose your children (or yourself) to toxic fumes.
Rinse out your cloth under hot water and wring, then hang to dry. Norwex's Envirocloths have silver woven into the fabric so they self-sanitize in about 24 hours. Want to know more about how Norwex's Microfiber cloths pick up and lock in bacteria? Just follow this link: http://www.norwex.biz/pws/amberballard/tabs/microfiber.aspx
Make sure to throw them in the washer for a thorough clean after you have used them to do a lot of heavy-duty cleaning.
I would love to hear from my readers what YOUR biggest cleaning challenges are!

Cleaning Caddy Makeover

Today, my cleaning caddy got a makeover and just in time before my spring cleaning goes into full swing! I love my cleaning caddy-I carry it with me as I go from room to room so I have to fit a wide range of supplies in it to tackle whatever I might find. What I've always hated about my caddy-the bulkiness. Not to mention the ever looming fear with having kids around that one of my little ones will grab that tempting aerosol can of furniture polish and spray themselves in the eye. I've got grease, grim and grit to tackle from four busy kids and not much time in my day to devote to cleaning. This is why I fell in love with the Norwex Antibac Envirocloth and the Norwex Window cloth! With just these two cloths and a little bit of water, I can clean glass, wood, plastic, stainless steal, walls and counter-tops to a streak-free shine and amazingly clean feel in half the time as before. So, onto my cleaning caddy makeover! My cleaning caddy before Norwex:

There's Got to be a Better Way to Clean!

Welcome friends! If you’ve found your way over here then you must be curious to learn more about those Norwex cloths I’ve been raving about. I am still very new to Norwex. I tried a couple of their microfiber cleaning cloths out last week, thanks to a friend, and from the beginning I was ecstatic over how these cloths could change my cleaning routine!
A few weeks ago, I was just about at my wits end with how I was cleaning my house. My cleaning caddy was overflowing with bottles of cleaner, dusters, cotton cloths, paper towels and newspaper. My method of cleaning was cumbersome and woefully inefficient. After spending a good 15 minutes scrubbing my sliding glass doors with diluted vinegar and newspaper I was very unhappy with all the black ink that had stained the palms of my hands. Then there was the massive pile of wet newspaper that always takes up a big chunk of my trashcan space-so much for trying to stretch those trash bags!
I also have four young children who love to try and help me clean, but as a Mom I have to be careful about what I choose to let them help me clean in case they accidentally ingest or inhale to much of these chemicals.  I also got to thinking about all the items my kids use and play with that I could finally clean without chemicals! The first day my order came in I took apart the Pack-N- Play and gave it a thorough scrub down with my Envirocloth. Greasy peanut butter gone!
Lastly, with a family of six, I’m always trying to find ways to save money. A couple years ago I greatly reduced our use of paper towels by buying a stack of cotton washcloths. I quit buying glass cleaner and started making my own laundry detergent. The Norwex cloths are one more way I can save money by buying less consumable products.

There is a better way to clean!
